Ensuring Transfer Success

This one-day community college counselor institute provides new and veteran counselors with comprehensive information about UC transfer admission policies and practices.

Ensuring Transfer Success (ETS) is a collaborative project of the University of California and the California Community Colleges. The information provided is designed for community college staff and faculty who are involved in preparing transfer students for admission to UC, including academic counselors, transfer center directors, articulation officers, student services officers, EOP counselors and disabled student services counselors.

Please note: Printed materials will not be available at Ensuring Transfer Success. Please print in advance what you would like to have with you. We encourage you to print only what you will need for the conference and use the website as a resource for the materials in the future. Each presentation is available as a PPT (best for viewing on computer) and PDF (best for printing) for your convenience.

*Note: For the 2013 Ensuring Transfer Success, we will come together with a focus on sharing stories and best practices. As transfer professionals (both UC and community college), we hope to use this year’s event to learn from each other by sharing our stories, struggles and best practices and by giving you an opportunity to share yours. You will notice less printable materials this year due to the nature of the panels we have developed. We encourage you to listen, participate in the discussions, and to bring a notepad in order to take note of ideas that you hope to implement in your community upon your return.
